NCT 127 Looks Back On The Success Of Their "Cherry Bomb" Promotions

NCT 127 is currently in promotions for their third mini album and title track “Cherry Bomb,” taking their first music show win back in June on “M!Countdown.”

Looking back on their promotions, the members said, “There are so many idols that focus on performance nowadays that the music has changed as well. Through ‘Cherry Bomb,’ we felt that we had the confidence to be a group with strong performances.”

However, the group expressed their regrets at not being able to show the best side of themselves during their promotions. Mark said, “We couldn’t appear on as many music shows as w would have liked. There are some regrets but every time we came out on a music show we worked even harder. We prepared a lot. It feels good that we’ve gotten No. 1.”

Johnny said confidently, “I was expecting we’d get No. 1. When we were practicing, I went in the mindset of making this the best we’ve ever done. That’s why I think the response was good.”

Mark added, “Rather than expecting big things, I feel glad the public has recognized our hard work.”

NCT 127 was also recently lauded on U.S.-based media outlets such as Fuse TV, Billboard, and the New York Times for their impactful performances, unique concept, and influence on the K-pop sphere in the United States.
