EXO Takes Over Insane Number Of iTunes Charts Worldwide With "The War"
There’s just no stopping EXO’s success!
Since its release on July 18, EXO’s “The War” album and its title track “Ko Ko Bop” have been sweeping charts around the world, placing first on many domestic charts and even crashing the largest Korean music streaming site Melon.
The album even set a new record by topping 41 global iTunes album charts at once. However, this is not the only record that EXO has set on iTunes with “The War.”
According news reports on July 20, the group placed first on 155 distinct iTunes charts worldwide, including various pop charts, single charts, album charts, and K-pop charts.
Meanwhile, EXO held their first official performance of “Ko Ko Bop” on the July 20 broadcast of “M!Countdown,” and will continue with appearances on “Music Bank,” “Music Core,” and “Inkigayo.”
