Goo Hara Clarifies Misunderstandings About Her Controversial Instagram Post + Agency Response
On July 26, Goo Hara uploaded a photo to her Instagram account that had fans asking a lot of questions before deleting that same post.
The photo shows Goo Hara holding what appears to be a hand-rolled cigarette. The accompanying caption said, “This has a sour taste, it tastes good.” Netizens began commenting, “Isn’t that marijuana?” and “That doesn’t look like a hand-rolled cigarette.” Some netizens claimed that Goo Hara had probably uploaded the photo to her public Instagram account by accident rather than to her private Instagram account.
She has since deleted the post and replaced it with a photo of fruit with the caption, “Taste of summer.”
However, the actress then took to her Instagram again to clarify misunderstandings about her controversial post and uploaded another photo with a caption that said, “It was a hand-rolled cigarette. I took a picture of it because it was interesting to me.”
Her management agency, KeyEast, stated, “As the photo in question is from her personal social media account, we have nothing more to say regarding the matter.”
