MYTEEN Shares They Once Mistook Wanna One's Fans For Their Own

During their debut showcase held on July 26, MYTEEN talked about Wanna One and “Produce 101 Season 2.”

On this day, Wanna One was filming “Weekly Idol” in the building across from where MYTEEN was having their showcase. After seeing all the fans waiting outside, the members of MYTEEN admitted that they mistook the fans for their own.

They said, “We got surprised because we thought they were our fans, but it turns out they were actually waiting for Wanna One.”

Member Song Yuvin then shared about his friendship with Wanna One’s Kim Jae Hwan, saying, “We used to be trainees under the same agency. I contacted him as soon as he got into Wanna One, and he told me he got lucky and that we should both work hard.”

“Wanna One is a really cool group. I think we have a lot to learn from them,” he added.

MYTEEN then revealed, “We watched every single episode of ‘Produce 101 Season 2.’ We were touched by their passion, so we always practiced really hard on Friday nights [after watching the show].”
