Juniel To Release Song About Dating Violence Based On Personal Experience

Juniel will be relaying an important message through a digital single on August 8.

On July 27, the singer posted a video clip on her Instagram showing a text message between a couple. The guy in the video threatens to kill his girlfriend’s family if she doesn’t open the door. The girlfriend tells him to calm down, and he responds that he feels like dying. The girlfriend then calls the Women’s Emergency Hotline after deleting all his photos from her phone.

Juniel explained, “I went through a similar experience a long time ago, so I want to raise awareness through music and let people know about the dangers of dating violence. I don’t want there to be any more victims.”
