Girl's Day's Hyeri Expresses Thoughts On Ending Filming For Her First Movie

Filming has been completed for upcoming movie “Water Monster” (literal translation).

The movie starring Kim Myung Min, Lee Kyung Young, Park Hee Soon, Park Sung Woong, Kim In Kwon, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, and Choi Woo Shik ended three months of filming with their 66th shoot on July 21.

Hyeri, who had played a large role in livening the atmosphere on set, shed tears as soon as the last shoot ended. As cast and crew comforted her, she spoke, “The filming for my first movie finally ended. I am really looking forward to seeing how the movie will turn out, and as much as we put in our best effort, I hope it will remain as a great film.”

Choi Woo Shik added, “We filmed through lots of sweat in hot weather, but it was fun,” and Kim Myung Min commented, “We worked hard to fight the water monster for three months. You will be able to meet a historical blockbuster-scale film like never seen before, so please look forward to it.”

The director Heo Jong Ho ended, “I am so happy that we ended well without any big accidents. I hope ‘Water Monster,’ which was created with our sweat and efforts, will deliver well to audiences and be remembered as a great movie.”

“Water Monster” is a film set in the Joseon era which tells the story of a water beast that suddenly appears and threatens the stability of the nation. It is scheduled to hit theaters in 2018.
