SHINee’s Onew, Kim Min Suk, And Ahn Woo Yeon Explain Why They Wanted To Join “Age Of Youth 2”

The three fresh faces of JTBC’s upcoming drama “Age of Youth 2” are enthusiastic about joining the cast!

A year after its first season, “Age Of Youth 2” has returned with five housemates who have aged one year since the original drama. In addition, SHINee’s Onew, Kim Min Suk, and Ahn Woo Yeon will be joining the cast.

Kim Min Suk will be playing the role of  Seo Jang Hoon, the substitute house owner of Belle Epoque, a share house where men are completely forbidden and where the five housemates reside in.

Onew has taken on the role of Kwon Ho Chang, an engineering student who is clueless about dating. The drama will be portraying his personal growth through interactions with Jung Ye Eun (Han Seung Yeon), one of the housemates who is a date rape survivor.

Ahn Woo Yeon will be playing He Im Dal, an idol group member who has failed to see the spotlight even after five years since debut.

The three actors shared, “We wanted to join ‘Age of Youth 2’ because we were deeply intrigued by ‘Age of Youth.'” They also revealed their determination going into the production, saying, “We want to give the viewers a prosperous memory with the five housemates.”

Meanwhile, the “Age of Youth 2” tells the story of five charming housemates played by Han Ye Ri, Han Seung Yeon, Park Eun Bin, Ji Woo, and Choi Ara.

“Age of Youth 2” will premiere on August 25 at 11 p.m. KST.
