Agency Gives Update On Kim Woo Bin's Current Health And Treatment Status

Actor Kim Woo Bin, who is currently receiving treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer, has successfully completed his first round of chemotherapy.

In a phone call with Sports Kyunghyang, a source from SidusHQ gave an update on Kim Woo Bin’s current status, saying, albeit cautiously, since treatment results are still pending, “He’s recovered enough to be able to exercise. Once we see the results [of the first round of chemotherapy] in mid August, we should be able to relay more about future plans and whether there will be a second round of treatment.”

Elaborating a bit on how Kim Woo Bin is doing, the source from SidusHQ said, “Pharmaceuticals have advanced a lot lately, and Kim Woo Bin hasn’t lost any hair or experienced many drastic changes in physical appearance as a result of the chemotherapy. The only thing is, he has lost roughly 10 kilograms (approximately 22 pounds) of weight. He is currently maintaining a body weight in the low 60-kilogram range.”

Kim Woo Bin was first diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in May this year.
