Former “Produce 101 Season 2” Trainee Jeong Joong Ji Joins New Agency
Jeong Joong Ji, a former contestant of “Produce 101 Season 2,” has joined hands with Think Technique Laboratory.
On July 27, the company confirmed they signed an exclusive contract with the trainee, and stated, “He had many love calls from large agencies, as he does have a large social media following and was in the news frequently, but he decided to join us with our trusting relationship as a foundation.”
Think Technique Laboratory is described to be a media education company that specializes in the production of broadcasting material and K-pop content, as well as vocational education with broadcasting agencies.
Jeong Joong Ji previously left his former agency, WAYZ Entertainment, back in late May. Following the end of “Produce 101 Season 2,” he claimed his former agency had created false sexual harassment rumors for “noise marketing” sake, and said that was the main reason he left. However, WAYZ Entertainment subsequently denied those claims, and argued that he ended his contract on mutual terms.
Moving forward, Jeong Joong Ji will continue to have an active social media presence, and actively appear on various broadcasts according to his new agency.
