Im Siwan And Hong Jong Hyun To Embark On A Rescue Mission To Save YoonA In "The King Loves"

On July 31, MBC’s “The King Loves” revealed preview stills of Eun San (YoonA) surrounded by royal soldiers and Wang Won (Im Siwan) and Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun) coming to her rescue.

Previously on episodes seven and eight, Song In (Oh Min Suk) became suspicious of Eun San, who knows the existence of Moo Seok (Park Young Woon), the culprit behind the “Bokjeonjang case” he had devised. At this, Song In spread false rumors that someone from Wang Won and Wang Rin’s side was killing the witnesses of the case.

The still below shows Eun San being falsely charged with a crime and becoming surrounded by royal soldiers.

Other stills (see featured image) show what happens next when Wang Won and Wang Rin come to the rescue of Eun San, who is being violently interrogated. Wang Rin looks like he’s about to shed tears  as he touches Eun San’s bleeding lips, and Wang Won has an angry and flustered expression on his face. These new stills suggest that their love triangle will intensify further in the upcoming episodes.

Episodes nine and ten will air on July 31 at 10 p.m. KST.
