GFRIEND Achieves Success On Both Overseas And Domestic Charts With New Mini Album

After releasing their fifth mini album “Parallel” on August 1, GFRIEND is doing well both on domestic and overseas charts!

As of August 3, “Parallel” reached No. 1 on the iTunes album chart in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The group has scored No. 2 on the same chart in Columbia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as No. 3 and No. 5 respectively in Thailand and Chile.

Moreover, their title track “Love Whisper” placed No. 1 on the iTunes songs chart in Hong Kong, No. 2 in Thailand, No. 4 in Singapore, and No. 8 in Malaysia.

“Love Whisper” is topping charts in Korea as well. The track held on to top spots on both the daily and realtime charts of music sites Genie, Bugs, and Soribada as of 10:30 p.m. KST on August 3.

The group also scored No. 2 on the Naver’s daily chart, and No. 3 on Melon’s daily chart, and comes in at No. 1 on iChart’s overall realtime chart.
