Wanna One's Hwang Minhyun Shares How His Parents Have Changed Since "Produce 101 Season 2"

On the July 3 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” Wanna One talked about  whether they can feel the immensity of their popularity.

Wanna One’s Hwang Minhyun said, “Before ‘Produce 101 Season 2,’ I promoted for six years as a singer,” referring to his promotions as part of NU’EST.

He continued, “I promoted for six years but never once did my parents ask me for any signatures to give to friends. I had to give them signatures to ask them to promote NU’EST.”

Hwang Minhyun then revealed, “But, recently, they called my agency, because I don’t have a cellphone, and asked if they could have 100 signatures from me. They were really happy so that made me really happy as well,” sharing his heartwarming feelings about his family’s excitement.

Meanwhile, the group won over the hearts of not only viewers, but MC Yoo Jae Suk as well through their appearance on “Happy Together.” Furthermore, the group announced their debut title track yesterday after voting between the two tracks came to an end.
