Starship Entertainment Asks Fans To Respect Jeong Sewoon's Privacy
In the midst of overwhelming popularity for Wanna One, Jung Se Woon, who came in at number 12 for “Produce 101 Season 2” and just missed the cutoff for the top 11, recently announced his solo debut, much to the delight of fans.
Fans were so ecstatic, in fact, that Starship Entertainment released an official statement asking that fans respect Jung Se Woon’s privacy.
Here is Starship’s full statement:
“Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.
“First, we’d like to thank everyone for always supporting Jung Se Woon. Recently, Jung Se Woon’s privacy has been invaded, and we’d like to make a request.
“We ask that fans refrain from visiting the Starship agency, housing, or any other places where our artists’ privacy could be disrespected, and we also ask that you consider the fact that staying around the agency for long periods of time not only affects Jung Se Woon, but third parties in the area, as well.
“Fan letters and presents can be sent via mail or support that has been officially approved by the agency; it is not possible for fans to personally give gifts to Jung Se Woon.
“In the event that these requests are not followed, the offending parties will be restricted from attending events open to fans (television broadcasts, fan signings, events, etc.), and Starship will not be held responsible for any issues brought about as a result of not complying with the requests outlined above.
“We ask for the cooperation of all of Jung Se Woon’s fans. Thank you.”
