Samuel Clarifies Comment About Wanna One's Kang Daniel Not Replying To His Message
Samuel Kim has posted on Instagram to clear up what he said about Kang Daniel leaving his text message unanswered.
On August 2, Samuel Kim appeared on a radio show and joked about how Wanna One’s Kang Daniel had not responded to his text even after reading it.
Two days after making the comment, Samuel Kim shared a backstage photo of himself on Instagram and wrote, “Thank you for today’s ‘M!Countdown’ stage! I heard from my manager after [the radio show] that Wanna One members do not have mobile phones at the moment to focus on preparing for their album.”

The singer went on to explain how he was able to get in touch with other Wanna One member Lai Guan Lin. He said, “When Lai Guan Lin and I got in contact, he had reached me with the help of an agency staff member.”
He then wrote a cute apology to Kang Daniel, writing, “Daniel, it was my misunderstanding. Keep it up, Wanna One! See you all next week.”
Meanwhile, Samuel Kim debuted as a solo artist with the title track “Sixteen.” He has mentioned that he is excited to debut alongside Wanna One, who will be releasing their debut album on August 7.
