Girls' Generation Goes On A Trip Down Memory Lane In 10th Anniversary Celebration Broadcast

On August 7, Girls’ Generation held a “LieV” V Live broadcast as part of their 10th anniversary celebration and to commemorate the release of the physical version of their latest album “Holiday.”

All the members talked about how quickly 10 years had passed, with Seohyun comparing the passing time to a kaleidoscope and Tiffany saying, “I used to think that the age I am now would be a long time away. Now that I think about it, some of us are going into acting or going solo so it still feels new and exciting.”

Sooyoung added, “When we debuted, we were often asked where we saw ourselves in 10 years. But I still think we have a long way left to go. We still feel like young children.”

The members then celebrated the physical release of their album by trying their “Holiday” choreography lying down.

Reminiscing again about the past 10 years, they said about their first debut stage, “We were really immature then.” They also remembered going to amusement parks together and expressed gratitude for being seen as a role model for many younger groups.

The members were also touched by several fan comments such as, “Thank you for becoming the Girls’ Generation I’d always imagined” and “I was not present for Girls’ Generation’s youth, but I am happy that Girls’ Generation was present for mine.”
