JJ Project, DreamCatcher, and GFRIEND's New Releases Make Debuts On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Three new K-pop releases have entered Billboard’s World Albums chart!

On August 8, Billboard released their latest weekly charts, this time for the week ending on August 19.

GOT7’s Jinyoung and JB recently made a comeback as the duo JJ Project with their new mini album “Verse 2,” including the title track “Tomorrow, Today.” On the newly released World Albums chart, “Verse 2” has grabbed the No. 2 spot! It also takes No. 9 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart.

EXO’s album “The War” spends its third week on the World Albums chart, this time coming in at No. 3, while “Ko Ko Bop” also takes No. 3 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

DreamCatcher’s new mini album “Prequel” has entered the chart at No. 5, following its release on July 27. The mini album features their title track “Fly High.”

“Parallel” by GFRIEND has made its debut on the chart at No. 10. The mini album features the title track “Love Whisper,” which took its first win on “The Show” on August 8.

G-Dragon’s album “Kwon Ji Yong” remains on the chart for its ninth week in total, this time coming in at No. 15.
