Wanna One’s Kang Daniel Talks About A Time He Wanted To Leave “Produce 101 Season 2”
Wanna One’s Kang Daniel admitted that he considered leaving “Produce 101 Season 2” at one point during the show.
On August 10’s episode of Mnet’s “Wanna One Go,” Kang Daniel talked to Ong Sung Woo about their time on the survival show.
Kang Daniel shared that he hadn’t thought that he would make it into the final 11 that became Wanna One.
“The most difficult time was when I was preparing for ‘Sorry Sorry,'” he said. “I was confident that the performance would go well. But then I received the lowest number of on-site votes.” He admitted with a laugh, “I was shocked.”
He confessed, “I even wondered, ‘Should I quit?’. I wanted to leave then. I was so ashamed.”
He then went on to express gratitude for the “Sorry Sorry” team members, who helped Kang Daniel withstand the tough competition by showing great teamwork.
“It was so great when we were doing ‘Sorry Sorry,'” said Ong Sung Woo. “Our team atmosphere was so good.”
Kang Daniel agreed and said, “It was temporary, but I think it was a crew that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
