Yoo Jae Suk Reveals Why He Paid For NU'EST's Meal In 2012

On the second Wanna One special episode of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together 3,” Hwang Min Hyun shared a touching story about Yoo Jae Suk from May 2012. Hwang Min Hyun first began talking about how it costs a lot of money to feed a boy band, and how an expensive lunch out with his NU’EST members turned out to be an invaluable encounter.

“At the beginning of our debut, our agency’s CEO said we can eat something expensive, so we went to eat an expensive lunch and Yoo Jae Suk was there. We were rookies who just debuted at the time, so we went over to say hello and he paid for our meal,” shared Hwang Min Hyun. This day was chronicled by NU’EST’s Baekho on their Me2Day page on May 4, 2012.

Yoo Jae Suk’s act of generosity has been told before, but only told through NU’EST members. In response, Yoo Jae Suk said, “Honestly, I didn’t really know NU’EST at the time. They were such rookies, and I felt for them. I recently learned that it was NU’EST.”
