The group has now tied Red Velvet for the most albums with No. 1s on the World Albums chart by a K-pop girl group, as they both have now had three releases take the top spot! Girls’ Generation’s previous albums that came in No. 1 were “I Got a Boy” and “Lion Heart.” Girls’ Generation “Holiday Night” has also come in at No. 5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.

The next new K-pop release on the chart is by Wanna One, who makes their debut on the World Albums chart at No. 3 with their first mini album “1×1=1 (TO BE ONE).” The popular mini album by the “Produce 101 Season 2” finalist group includes the title track “Energetic.”

At No. 4 on this week’s chart is EXO’s “The War,” which is spending its fourth week on the chart.

Jessica’s new mini album “My Decade,” featuring the title track “Summer Storm,” makes it debut at No. 5.

JJ Project’s “Verse 2” is at No. 7, after coming in at No. 2 last week.

CLC’s “FREE’SM” also makes it debut on the chart at No. 14. The new mini album features their title track “Where Are You?”.

In addition, WINNER’s “Island” off their single album “Our Twenty For” has taken the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. WINNER’s single also includes the track “LOVE ME LOVE ME,” and had great success on both Korean and international charts right after its release.

Congratulations to all the artists!
