HOTSHOT Talks About Advice That SHINee's Taemin And EXO's Kai Gave Them

Rising boy group HOTSHOT recently took part in a pictorial with magazine @star1 and, during the accompanying interview, spoke honestly about the effects that Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” had on them.

First, they said that the group’s popularity rose thanks to the members who went on the show. They thanked the two members by saying, “We didn’t have a lot of opportunities before that, but Noh Tae Hyun and Ha Sung Woon created opportunities for us.”

When asked whether anything changed because Ha Sung Woon made it into Wanna One, they said, “Ha Sung Woon was the brightest character on our team. If he had participated in this comeback with ‘Jelly,’ which is a dark song, it wouldn’t have fit his personality and he would have found it awkward.”

Timoteo, who is close to SHINee’s Taemin and EXO’s Kai, said, “Taemin said that watching me work hard was cute and Kai told me not to get too greedy and to do things comfortably. They are friends that I am grateful to because they always keep an eye out for my comebacks. This time, their advice really spoke to me.”
