Song Sun Mi's Agency Release Statement On Actress's Condition Following Husband's Murder
Actress Song Sun Mi’s agency recently released a statement following the murder of her husband.
The actress’s 45 year-old husband was murdered on August 21, and currently, the police is investigating a 28 year-old man seen arguing with the husband before the incident occurred. According to a source from the police, the husband was stabbed for giving less money than he promised to the young man after asking for help with his grandfather’s inheritance. The husband later passed away at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital.
Currently, Song Sun Mi is in the midst of working on her drama, MBC’s “Return of Bok Dan Ji.” The producers of the show responded to the incident and said, “We wish our sincerest condolences to Song Sun Mi, who is going through a very difficult time. As far as filming goes, we have yet to discuss the matter.”
Song Sun Mi’s agency, JR Entertainment, also released an official statement which reads as follows.
“As reported by the news, Song Sun Mi’s husband fell victim to a horrible crime on August 21. Following the announcement, Song Sun Mi is in deep shock and sorrow. All those involved with the incident are currently under police investigation.”
“Song Sun Mi and her family are in deep mourning. Please be considerate to the victim and his family, who are suffering a great loss, and please refrain from posting speculative comments and sensational reports as much as possible.”
“We wish our sincerest condolences to the family.”
