BoA Thanks Fans For Their Support On 17th Debut Anniversary

BoA is celebrating almost two decades of her career today!

On August 25 KST, she posted on her personal Instagram a photo with adorable Pikachu and wrote, “Thank you~ I want to meet all of you on the stage soon. Please let me make an album haha. Along with Bo-kachu. Thank you for 17 years! Let’s stay together in the future too.”

In the caption, she also hashtagged “17 years with BoA” and wrote, “All of you are the best!”

BoA made her debut as a solo singer on August 25, 2000. Since then she has enjoyed massive success in Korea as well as being one of the leaders of the Hallyu wave in Japan and Asia. Recently BoA has begun acting in earnest, appearing in dramas such as “My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week.” She was also the MC for the highly successful “Produce 101 Season 2.”
