GOOD DAY Talks About How Wanna One’s Bae Jin Young Influences Them

Recently, upcoming girl group GOOD DAY spoke in an interview on working with Wanna One’s Bae Jin Young for their upcoming “Rolly” music video.

GOOD DAY and Bae Jin Young are currently under C9 Entertainment and have known each other since they were trainees. The group first expressed their grateful feelings towards Bae Jin Young, and Genie added, “We used to always spend long days practicing in the studio with Jinyoung, so seeing him succeed continuously since ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ feels awkward but cool. I think we’ll be glad to see him outside the studio now.”

The girls also talked about how seeing Bae Jin Young is motivation for them to work harder. Genie continued, “We feel competitive spirit when we see how well Bae Jin Young is doing on large stages by himself. We also feel that we shouldn’t lose. We hope to work hard together and succeed.”

There has been a lot of interest surrounding GOOD DAY’s debut, and the group has already received offers to star in advertisements. Heejin commented regarding their debut, “This is the start for GOOD DAY, so please watch out for our diverse colors. We will try our best to meet your expectations.”

GOOD DAY will release their first album “All Day GOOD DAY” along with their debut music video for “Rolly” on August 30 at 6 p.m. KST.
