Weki Meki's Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon Talk About Hopes For Their Second Debut

On August 27, Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon appeared on Naver V Live for a live broadcast of “Weki Meki Yoo-Jung & Do-Yeon X LieV.”

Choi Yoojung opened up the discussion saying, “We are now getting to do our second debut with Weki Meki, after spending a year of activities after the debut of I.O.I. Some think that it will be simple for us, and it’s true that since we have done it before it may be a little easier for us than for our other members, but I am still very nervous.”

Kim Doyeon jumped into the conversation by talking about what she learned from her experience with I.O.I, “While we have been working with Weki Meki, there have been so many things that have helped us. This is such a relief, and I am very thankful for it. When you are new, there are going to be mistakes and things that are awkward. Since I was able to do most of them last year, I seems like this year I will be having less of those experiences and that is good.”

The singer continued on to show her maturity musically: “Our debut last year was just great, but this time I want to make a more detailed effort to do even better and perform even cooler performances. The desire for that is bigger this time.”

Moving on, Choi Yoojung shared that she would like to go on the reality program “Three Meals a Day.” “It seems that it would feel like a vacation, and I also would like to go to the beach. Also, I think I would be a good helper on the show. I’m pretty small but when someone orders me to do something, I’ve heard that I can do it sturdily. Women at restaurants have told me so, and I think I would be a great help. Also, there are cats on the show and I want to play with them so I really want to go. It seems like a really sweet show!”
