Lee Hyori Reveals What She Gave Up To Marry Lee Sang Soon

On the August 27 episode of JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay,” Lee Hyori, IU, and a homestay guest went out to eat at a restaurant where the conversation led to men.

Lee Hyori started, “People can’t help but be drawn to things that make us feel joy. When I used to follow my senses, I wanted to date handsome men. But those kinds of men weren’t good for me. So I gave up my senses, followed my heart, and met Lee Sang Soon.”

However, she couldn’t stop showing her love for her husband and asked the guests, “Isn’t Sang Soon handsome? Isn’t he better than you imagined?” which the homestay guest replied, “He’s a lot more fun and cuter than I thought.”

JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay” airs on Sunday nights at 8:50 p.m. KST.
