Ha Ji Won Reveals Efforts She Has Taken To Get Into Character For "Hospital Ship"

On August 28, the press conference for MBC’s “Hospital Ship” was held in Seoul.

During the conference, Ha Ji Won revealed the many efforts she made in order to get into her character, Song Eun Jae. She said, “I thought that a bob hairstyle was the most fitting for Song Eun Jae’s character. I cut it way before filming for the drama started. It’s quite great, because it’s easy to wash my hair.”

Furthermore, she also elaborated on her move to Geoje Island. She explained, “Just like how Eun Jae left for Geoje Island [in the drama], I also moved to Geoje. I actually got an apartment there. I brought all of my necessities from Seoul.”

Ha Ji Won added, “Sometimes filming is tiring and hard, but looking at the beautiful sky and ocean immediately relieves my stress.”

Lastly, the actress revealed how she worries about drama ratings every time she takes on a project. She said, “The ratings for every drama are burdensome. I try my best and at times, the ratings will be high. Even if it doesn’t exceed expectations, I think if I try my best, things will turn out well.”

“Hospital Ship” is set to air its first episode on August 30!
