MBC Confirms Cancellation Of 2017 DMC Festival Due To Strike
MBC has confirmed the cancellation of the 2017 DMC Festival.
On August 30, a source from MBC stated, “Due to internal and external situations, the DMC Festival has been cancelled.”
The 2017 DMC Festival was originally planned to go from September 16 to September 24; however, due to the upcoming strike starting on September 4, the event has inevitably been cancelled.
BTS’s V and TWICE’s Dahyun were previously confirmed to be the MCs for the “Korean Music Wave” concert, which is part of the DMC Festival. While the official website shows multiple events lined up, it seems like all of these schedules will be cancelled as well.
Meanwhile, variety shows like “Infinite Challenge” and “I Live Alone” have also been cancelled indefinitely due to the strike.
