NU'EST W Shares What Has Changed Since "Produce 101 Season 2"
All four members of NU’EST W appeared on the August 30 broadcast of “Weekly Idol” alongside other artists from their Pledis Entertainment family.
As one of the most popular idols right now since their appearance on “Produce 101 Season 2,” hosts Jung Hyun Don and Defcon asked the NU’EST members if they can feel their popularity since the show. NU’EST member Ren answered, “I can personally feel our popularity. Before, only the convenience store owner in front of our house would recognize us, but these days when we’re out, a lot of people recognize us.”
The hosts also asked if the Pledis Entertainment CEO’s treatment towards them has changed, to which Baekho speedily responded, “Yes. A lot,” then said, “We’re famous now!” at the provoking of Jung Hyun Don and Defcon.
NU’EST member Aron was the only member who did not participate on “Produce 101 Season 2,” and shared what he did during that time. Aron said, “During that time, I practiced by myself and went to the U.S. to see my family.” Baekho said Aron was supportive of the members during their participation on “Produce 101 Season 2” by making them food when they came back to the dormitory after filming.
