Korean Broadcasting Awards Postponed Due To KBS Strike
On September 2, an official announcement released by the Korean Broadcasters Association revealed, “The Korean Broadcasting Awards scheduled to be held on September 4 at 3 p.m. KST at Yeouido KBS Hall has been postponed.”
It appears that the delay of the awards ceremony is due to the KBS labor union that is scheduled to go on strike on September 4. Previously, BTS was announced as the winner of the Artist Award, being the only musicians to win this year. Namgoong Min has also been revealed as the winner of the Actor Award.
Meanwhile, MBC producers will also be going on strike starting the same day, resulting in the halt of popular shows such as “Infinite Challenge” and “I Live Alone.”
