Sunmi Speaks Fondly Of Samuel And Wanna One's Lee Dae Hwi

Sunmi and Samuel appeared as guests on the September 5 broadcast of “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time.”

During the broadcast, Sunmi was told that Wanna One’s Lee Dae Hwi was a huge fan of her ever since her Wonder Girls days. When Wanna One appeared as guests on last week’s broadcast, Lee Dae Hwi expressed his love for her latest track “Gashina” and briefly danced to the chorus.

In regards to this, Sunmi commented, “I read the news article [about it] and also saw the clip of him dancing. I thought it was great, and I wondered if I even deserved this love.”

She added that she was a fan of Lee Dae Hwi, saying, “I actually supported him on [‘Produce 101 Season 2’].”

Sunmi then talked about Samuel, saying, “I saw him during his 1Punch days and I was amazed that such a young kid could be so good at singing and dancing. He kind of reminds me of Justin Bieber back in his ‘Baby’ days.”
