Ha Ji Won Is A Woman On An Unknown Mission In New "Hospital Ship" Stills

Ha Ji Won is living up to her character’s reputation as a “monster doctor” in the latest stills from “Hospital Ship.”

In the new medical drama from MBC, Ha Ji Won plays Song Eun Jae, a technically brilliant and charismatic surgeon who keeps her emotions repressed after her mother’s death. The new stills show a frightening side to her intensity as she wields an axe during an operation and calmly pours alcohol over the blade despite the bloodstains everywhere.

In last week’s episode, a sailor was brought in to Ha Ji Won’s hospital after his arm was cut off. Without hesitation, she used the axe to chop off a remaining part of his arm and viewers had to wait until this week to find out the reason why and what will be the consequences of her action.

Surrounded by the very human doctors working with Ha Ji Won on “Hospital Ship,” her character is also expected to undergo an emotional change and be drawn out of her shell in the upcoming episodes.
