Oh Yeon Seo Considering Offer To Star In Hong Sisters’ New Fantasy Drama

Oh Yeon Seo may be joining Lee Seung Gi for a new drama!

On September 6, it was reported that the actress has been cast in upcoming tvN drama “Hwayugi.”

In response, her agency Celltrion Entertainment commented, “Oh Yeon Seo is currently looking over the scenario. Her appearance in the drama is not confirmed, but she is positively considering the offer.”

The drama is written by the Hong Sisters, who previously created hits such as “The Greatest Love,” “You’re Beautiful,” “Master’s Sun,” and “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.” It is a romantic fantasy about fighting off evil spirits, and Oh Yeon Seo has been cast as Jin Sun Mi, a character who comes to live an extraordinary life after meeting Sun Wukong. It was previously revealed that Lee Seung Gi is in talks to star as Sun Wukong.

“Hwayugi” is scheduled to air on tvN starting in December.
