EXO, Yoon Jong Shin, And Wanna One Top Monthly Gaon Charts For August

On September 7, Gaon revealed the chart results for the month of August.

EXO’s “Ko Ko Bop” took first on the digital chart, with Yoon Jong Shin’s “Like It” in second place and Wanna One’s “Energetic” in third. “Ko Ko Bop” also placed first on the BGM chart. On the download chart, “Like It” took first with 473,179 downloads, “Energetic” took second with 455,984 downloads, and “Ko Ko Bop” took third with 411,635 downloads. “Like It” also placed first on the streaming chart with 27,950,024 streams and is followed by Heize’s “You, Clouds, Rain” and Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor.” Wanna One’s debut album “1X1=1(TO BE ONE)” topped the chart for physical albums with 704,616 albums sold for the month, and Girls’ Generation’s “Holiday Night” took second with 159,382 albums. The Korean version of EXO’s “THE WAR” placed third with 120,046 albums sold for the month, bringing the total sales for the album to 928,701.
