AOA's Seolhyun Surprises Cast Of "Three Meals A Day" In First Appearance As Guest

AOA member and actress Seolhyun visited Deukryang Island and surprised “Three Meals A Day” members Lee Seo Jin, Eric, and Yoon Kyun Sang as the third special guest of the season.

When Seolhyun walked into the front yard, Yoon Kyun Sang and Eric’s faces lit up, while Lee Seo Jin asked, “Who? Who is it?” Eric responded, “Seolhyun!” and Yoon Kyun Sang added, “He is old so he doesn’t know [young celebrities] very well.”

Soon after she arrived, Seolhyun was tasked with helping Yoon Kyun Sang make breakfast. Yoon Kyun Sang felt bad that Seolhyun’s first meal on the island had to be prepared by him instead of Eric, but Seolhyun still ate everything deliciously. Then, Seolhyun showed her cooking skills and made hand-pulled dough soup (sujebi) for lunch. Seolhyun said, “I’ve only made this for my family and [AOA] members,” then added, “Everything tastes good with MSG.”

The cast members and Seolhyun also talked about their vast age differences. Coincidentally, Seolhyun and Yoon Kyun Sang are eight years apart, Yoon Kyun Sang and Eric are eight years apart, and Eric and Lee Seo Jin are eight years apart. Eric said he debuted in 1998, and Seolhyun said she was born in 1995, to which Lee Seo Jin sadly said, “I graduated from New York University in 1995.”

Meanwhile, actor Lee Jong Suk has been confirmed as the next special guest, adding onto this season’s guest list of actress Han Ji Min, actor Lee Je Hoon, and now Seolhyun.
