Lee Hyori And Lee Sang Soon Miss IU, IU Comes Back With A Surprising Gift

Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon, and IU showed how close they had gotten on the September 10 episode of JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay.” IU left Jeju Island to attend her younger brother’s graduation ceremony in the United States, leaving Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon with a vacancy in their house and heart.

During their break times, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon talked about IU and how much they missed her. Lee Hyori said, “Ji Eun [IU’s real name] texted me saying she arrived safely [in the U.S.],” while Lee Sang Soon added, “I texted her [a photo of] the morning landscape.” Even during her hike surrounded by beautiful views of nature, Lee Hyori said to her husband, “When Ji Eun comes, we should eat dumplings. Seafood dumplings.”

IU also wondered about her “Lee family” back in Jeju and said, “The sky is blue here, but it isn’t as pretty as the sky in Jeju. I wonder what Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon are doing.” During her flight back home, she said, “I thought of Jeju. It came up in my dream. New guests must’ve arrived. I wonder what they’re like. I will land quickly in Seoul and contact Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon.”

IU finally returned to her Lee family and told them how much she missed them. Then, she gave Lee Hyori lacy pink lingerie as her gift from the U.S. and said, “This [homestay/show] will be over soon so the two of you…” and smiled shyly.
