Seo Min Jung Says She Was Known In New York As The Korean Jennifer Aniston

Actress Seo Min Jung opened up about a nickname she had earned while living in the U.S.

During the September 11 episode of JTBC’s “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” Seo Min Jung talked about some of the struggles she went through while living in New York. Because she wasn’t very fluent in English at first, she had trouble communicating with the other parents at her child’s school.

The actress shared, “This one Korean couple felt bad for me and they wanted to tell the other parents that I was a celebrity from Korea, so they introduced me as the Korean version of Jennifer Aniston from ‘Friends.'”

“I was known by the nickname ‘Korean Jennifer Aniston’ for quite some time,” she added while laughing.
