Watch: IU And Lee Hyori Complete Their Impromptu Collaboration Song On "Hyori's Homestay"

On the September 17 episode of “Hyori’s Homestay,” IU and Lee Hyori completed the collaboration song they’d begun in previous episodes.

Previously Lee Hyori had written lyrics about IU while IU was away from the homestay due to another commitment. Lee Hyori’s husband, Lee Sang Soon, accompanied Lee Hyori’s lyrics on guitar.

This week Lee Hyori and IU stepped in to the couple’s home recording studio to listen to the full version of the song. Lee Hyori sang the first verse about IU, while IU sang the second verse she had written about Lee Hyori. The chorus is about how the two women share many similarities as well as differences, while the final chorus changes to how well they know each other.

The song has a mellow, acoustic vibe that perfectly fits the atmosphere of “Hyori’s Homestay” and is accompanied by flashbacks of the two women from the show’s run.
