Lee Yeon Hee’s Character Poster For “The Package” Reveals Surprising Twist

JTBC has released a new character poster for its upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “The Package.”

Alongside CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, actress Lee Yeon Hee will play the lead role of a tour guide, while he will play the role of one of the travelers in her group. In the newly released poster, Lee Yeon Hee is smiling, but in contrast to her facial expression, the caption next to her reads, “Ah, I can’t really do this, this team.”

Regarding her newest project, Lee Yeon Hee said, “In my 20s, the first trip I took alone was to Paris. It was also the place where I felt the appeal of being a travel guide. She added, “I really wanted to take on this role because of curiosity about the job from my personal experience, the charming synopsis, and script.”

Lee Yeon Hee’s character, Yoon So So, went to study abroad in France and started working as a travel guide to earn tuition money. From years of living in France, she is fluent in French. In order to get into character, the actress revealed she studied French culture, watched French movies, and took French lessons. As a result, she was able to even communicate with French actors that were on set.

The filming for the drama wrapped last year, but it is airing this fall. Lee Yeon Hee said, “I’m glad [the drama] is airing at a seasonally apt time for the drama. I’m looking forward to watching the drama and reliving my memories from the time of filming.”

“The Package” is scheduled to air after “Age of Youth 2,” and will premiere its first episode on October 13 at 11 p.m. KST.
