TWICE has won another award that recognizes their amazing digital success!

On September 20, the 1st Soribada Best K-pop Music Awards were held at the Jamsil Students’ Gynmasium, with artists including TWICE, EXO, BTS, Wanna One, GFRIEND, Red Velvet, and many more receiving awards.

When they accepted their Digital Daesang award, Jihyo said, “We received a Bonsang earlier too, and we thank Soribada so much for giving us the Digital Daesang. We think it’s a really big honor to be able to receive this award at the first year of this award show. We’ve received a lot of awards starting from last year for songs like ‘Cheer Up’ and ‘TT’ because of the love they received, and we thought it was a true honor.”

“We thank you for giving us an award this year too,” she continued. “There are three months left in 2017, and we hope you’ll continue to show us love in those remaining months and in the future. We sincerely thank you!”

This is only the latest in many awards won by TWICE since their debut in 2015, including the Digital Daesang at the 2017 Golden Disc Awards, Song of the Year at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Song of the Year at the 2016 Melon Music Awards, and more.

The group’s most recent Korean release was “Signal” in May, and they have since made a well-received debut in Japan.

Congratulations to TWICE!
