Watch: Jeong Sewoon Thrills Fan And Fellow Students With Surprise Visit To Her High School

As one of 1theK’s “Run to You” projects, Jeong Sewoon made a surprise visit to a girls’ high school to sing for a very lucky fan who has less than two months left until the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

The fan applied for the event commenting, “I waited for Ponyo [Jeong Sewoon’s nickname] to debut since ‘Produce 101 Season 2.'” As she was in her last year of high school, she and her friends couldn’t participate in any school events and had to study all day long. She begged that Jeong Sewoon visit her school so she could have a bit of an escape from all the pressure.

On September 22, 1theK shared a video of the special event. In the clip, the fan had no idea what was about to happen to her. Then Jeong Sewoon unexpectedly appeared in the middle of the school field wearing a hood and a mask. He wrote the name of the fan in big letters with chalk powder along with the words, “Good luck on your CSAT.”

When excited girls and the fan arrived in front of Jeong Sewoon, he gave her a bundle of balloons, took off his mask and hood, and started to sing his debut song “Just U” for her.

Surrounded by seemingly the entire school, Jeong Sewoon sang and danced for the special fan. The girls’ reactions were amazing as they screamed every time he came near them or made eye contact. The students in the building were all leaning out of windows trying to get a better look at Jeong Sewoon and some were even waving papers with his name written on them.
