Jeon Somi's Sister Evelyn To Appear On Her 1st Variety Show With Help From Their Father

Though Jeon Somi’s little sister Evelyn is just seven years old, she is a social media star with over 190,000 followers on Instagram.

Evelyn is set to make her first appearance on a variety show through the upcoming SBS pilot “Box Life.” The show will be a review variety program that sends its cast members a box with mystery items that the cast must use and create a review video for. Evelyn will be receiving help from her father, Matthew Douma, for her videos.

Seo Jang Hoon and Kim Sook have been chosen as the representatives of people who live alone, while actor Joo Hyun will represent the older generation, and tennis legend Jeon Mi Ra will try out products on behalf of housewives.

Producing director Min Eui Sik stated, “Children never lie. We think Evelyn will create reviews that reflect a level of honesty and innocence that only a child can express. Also, we think that she and her father will bring an interesting perspective because they come from a multicultural family.”

SBS’s pilot program “Box Life” will air during the Chuseok holidays in early October.
