Star Empire Entertainment's New Girl Group Reportedly To Appear On YG Reality Show "MIXNINE"

On September 27, a source from OSEN reported that OMZM, the new girl group planned by Star Empire Entertainment, would be appearing on the JTBC audition program “MIXNINE.” The source reported that Yang Hyun Suk appeared in person at Star Empire’s building to film.

OMZM has been in preparation at Star Empire since last year. Originally set to include “Produce 101” trainees Han Hyeri, Kim Yoon Ji, and Kang Si Hyun, Han Hyeri parted ways with the agency earlier this year and the group went through reorganization.

“MIXNINE” is a collaboration between “Produce 101” and “Show Me the Money” producing director Han Dong Chul and Yang Hyun Suk, who visited agencies all around Korea to find new stars for the survival competition.

Of 400 participants, nine male trainees and nine female trainees will be selected to form a boy group and girl group respectively. The winning team between the two groups will debut after the final match.
