NU’EST Fans Make The 2017 Korea Music Festival Memorable With Special Light Stick Event

The 2017 Korea Music Festival was held across the weekend from September 30 to October 1 at the Gocheok Sky Dome, and the second night’s performances came with a surprise event by L.O.Λ.E.s [NU’EST’s official fan club name].

The October 1 lineup featured artists like EXO-CBX, Red Velvet, NCT 127, WINNER, BLACKPINK, TWICE, BTOB, B1A4, Apink, EXID, GFRIEND, FTISLAND, Sunmi, and NU’EST W.

As usual for such a large event, each group’s fans were allocated blocks of seats and fans brought light sticks in their respective group’s official colors to show their support.

L.O.Λ.E.s brought their new official light sticks, which are being used for NU’EST W’s unit group activities, and they put the fact that their light sticks come programmed with multiple colors to good use to create a heartwarming night for everyone there. Whenever a new artist came out to perform, L.O.Λ.E.s are said to have changed their light stick colors to match the group and sang along to show their support. Some of the changes included going blue for WINNER and BTOB, red for Sunmi and Red Velvet, green for NCT 127, pink for Apink and white for EXO-CBX.

Their show of support for other singers didn’t go unnoticed, as “러브분들” (L.O.Λ.E.s) became a trending topic on Twitter. Many drew parallels between L.O.Λ.E.s and Lights, Highlight’s fans, who did something similar at the 2017 Incheon K-pop Concert in September.

After the concert ended, L.O.Λ.E.s were thanked by NU’EST W on social media. On the group’s official Twitter account, the members shared a group photo and said, “We send all of our love to the L.O.Λ.E.s who were here today! Wherever our L.O.Λ.E.s. are is the most beautiful place on earth.”

Member Ren posted a photo on his personal Instagram account with the caption, “I’m so proud of our L.O.Λ.E.s. Have a safe journey back home.”

Kudos to L.O.Λ.E.s for creating a memorable moment for everyone!

NU’EST W is set to release their first album as a unit group on October 10. Don’t forget to check out the teasers for their upcoming return!
