SEVENTEEN Spends 17th Week On Billboard's Social 50 Chart

SEVENTEEN has shown their popularity on social media by charting on Billboard’s Social 50 for 17 weeks!

On the Social 50 chart for the week ending in October 14, SEVENTEEN has taken the No. 34 spot, rising from No. 38 last week. This means that SEVENTEEN has now been on the chart for a perfect 17 weeks in a row.

According to Billboard, the Social 50 chart shows “the most active artists on the world’s leading social networking sites.” Billboard ranks artists worldwide on the chart by using “a formula blending their weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views and weekly song plays, as measured by Next Big Sound.”

SEVENTEEN’s highest ranking so far on the Social 50 chart was No. 14, which they achieved on the chart for the week ending in August 19. They first made their debut on the chart back in June. The group has over 2.1 million followers on Twitter, and over 1.9 million followers on Instagram!

SEVENTEEN is currently gearing up to make a return with their second full album, and their comeback date was recently confirmed for November 6.

In the meantime, they’ve been releasing unit tracks as part of their “2017 SEVENTEEN Project,” including the unit leaders’ “Change Up” and the hip-hop unit’s “Trauma.” The performance unit’s song is due out on October 9, while the vocal unit will be releasing a track on October 16.
