Jeon Somi Talks About Her Dad's Influence On Her Makeup Style

Jeon Somi, winner of Mnet’s “Produce 101” and former member of I.O.I, recently took part in a gorgeous photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar for their November issue, “Red, Action!”

The idol explained that the reason why she enjoys wearing red lip makeup is because of her father. Jeon Somi revealed, “Maybe because I’ve been influenced by my father who used to be a make-up artist, but I really like make-up. I really love red lipstick, to the point where red lips have become a part of my signature make-up style.”

Befitting her nickname “Vita-som,” Jeon Somi’s energetic attitude exudes through the photos released by the magazine, where she poses dreamily and pouts with red lipstick as vibrant as her personality.

It was revealed that the idol was able to show off her love for all kinds of red lipstick, trying and pulling off various shades of red such as chic red, pure red, party red, and even a funky red. The production crew were impressed with her energy and her professional attitude as she wowed the staff with her poses and facial expressions.
