Lee Jin Wook Confirms Casting In First Commercial Movie After Halt In Activities

Lee Jin Wook will be returning to the big screen. On October 27, Lee Jin Wook’s agency revealed that he will be starring in the movie “High Society” (literal translation).

“High Society” is about a Seoul University professor who runs for a seat in Congress, and his wife, who is a chief of the visual arts department, illustrating their ambition and love.

Actress Soo Ae has been cast as the wife, and Park Hae Il will be playing the Seoul University professor. Lee Jin Wook will be portraying a media artist who gets involved in a secret love affair with Soo Ae.

Meanwhile, Lee Jin Wook returned to the big screen earlier this year with indie film “The Winter Guest Who’s Scarier Than A Tiger” after a halt in his activities due to a sexual assault accusation. This film will be his first commercial film since the scandal.

“High Society” will start filming in early November.
