tvN Responds To Rumors About Cancellation Of “SNL Korea”
tvN has denied reports of SNL Korea being cancelled.
On October 27, tvN stated, “‘SNL Korea 9’ will end the third week of November. However, there has been no decision to end the program.”
“SNL Korea” first aired in January 2011, and gained a lot of attention at the time for openly covering sensitive topics, including political satire and other candid humor. The show has been hosted by many stars throughout its seasons, and recently made the switch from a live broadcast to a pre-recorded format to further improve the quality of the show.
