5 Things We Loved And 3 Things We Hated About "Because This Is My First Life" Episodes 7 And 8

“Because This Is My First Life” has been getting praised for its relatable content and characters. This past week’s episodes were no different in providing viewers with entertaining antics! Here are some moments that we loved and hated about episodes 7 and 8.

1. Loved: The second-male lead’s dimples

Just when we thought this drama couldn’t get any better, in comes Yeon Bok Nam, played by Kim Min Kyu. His adorable dimples and flashy smile are enough to warm the coldest of hearts. Something about his free spirited ways, working at a cafe and riding a motorcycle, seem to be almost exactly what Ji Ho (Jung So Min) needs.

2. Hated: His conniving glare and the fact that he’s a stalker

Woof. We knew he was too good to be true, right?

We couldn’t just get a fun-loving, romantic second-male lead? Ugh, when Nam Se Hee (Lee Min Ki) finds out that Bok Nam is a stalker, I’m pretty sure all our hearts dropped. Ji Ho is already having such bad luck, and to top it off, she has to have a stalker in her life? Just doesn’t seem fair.

3. Loved: Seeing Nam Se Hee wanting to protect Ji Ho

The rational and logical computer program designer, Nam Se Hee is not so dead inside after all! He has feelings, and our hopes of him realizing his feelings for Ji Ho are slowly coming true!

4. Also loved: How Mr. Ma and Soo Ji are falling for each other

I love how Mr. Ma genuinely cares for Soo Ji and hates seeing her being pushed around and taken advantage of by other men. His confession to Soo Ji in the cab is so adorable and heart-felt!

5. Hated: How Soo Ji is pushing him away

I understand why Soo Ji is scared of being with Mr. Ma, but I wish she would just give him a chance.

OUCH.

Let’s hope Mr. Ma keeps being persistent!

6. Loved: Nam Se Hee rescuing Ji Ho

When Nam Se Hee chooses to go look for Ji Ho rather than pick up his cat, it just proves how much he cares about her. Especially after kicking Bok Nam’s bike to the floor and not even caring about the financial consequences, Nam Se Hee is showing that Ji Ho is a priority in his life.

7. Really loved: When he said, “our home” and took her by the hand

The feelings we got in this part. Nam Se Hee knows that Ji Ho doesn’t want to hear the word, “our” because it confuses her, which means Se Hee wants her to know his feelings! The way he grasps her hand, too. I hope this is the start of a more loving relationship between the two!

8. Hated: Having to say good-bye to our second-male lead

Yes, he was a stalker, but I was kind of hoping he’d be around for a bit longer. His adorable dimples really did light up the screen!
