Update: Jung Joon Young Is Notified Of Kim Joo Hyuk’s Passing

Jung Joon Young, who’s currently at Cook Islands filming “Law of the Jungle,” is reported to be unaware of the passing of his former “2 Days & 1 Night” castmate Kim Joo Hyuk.

On November 1, a source from “Law of the Jungle” stated, “The staff members in Korea are currently trying to get in contact with the staff members at [Cook Islands]. However, because the cast is filming in the wild, they are unable to receive our texts and calls. It’s regrettable that we can’t reach them right now.”

The cast members of “Law of the Jungle” are scheduled to return to Korea on November 5.

Kim Joo Hyuk passed away on October 30 after a car accident. The police released his autopsy results and also issued a follow-up statement regarding the tragic accident. His funeral will be held on November 2.

Our thoughts are with the friends and family of Kim Joo Hyuk.
