Kim Jung Hyun From 'School 2017' To Play Lead Role In KBS Drama Special

Actor Kim Jung Hyun from “School 2017” has landed a lead role in the final installment of KBS2’s drama special. The episode titled “Buzzcut Love” (literal title) will air on November 5 at 10:40 p.m KST.

“Buzzcut Love” is the highly anticipated last episode of KBS2’s drama special, and features Kim Jung Hyun as Chi Hwan, a man who lives according to his own way. Meanwhile, actress Kang Yeon Jung plays the role of the chic and bold Ji Yul, who suffers from a brain tumor. “Buzzcut Love” tells the story of the fateful encounter between these two characters.

In the drama, Kim Jung Hyun’s character experiences new emotions as this peculiar girl enters his life and disrupts the content life he has lived thus far.

Last year, Kim Jung Hyun showed great acting in the movie “Overman” and the drama “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate).” He continued on to star in a variety of productions, showing a different image each time. In particular, he recently gained attention for his realistic portrayal of rebellious high school student Hyun Tae Won in KBS2’s “School 2017.”
